Theta Museum

The Theta Museum occupies a single room hidden within the timber buildings of the Bryggen wharf. At sixteen square meters, this space houses the smallest museum in Norway. During the German occupation of the Second World War, the room served as a secret headquarters for a local resistance cell known as the Theta Group. These young members used their engineering training to design a concealed door, allowing them to broadcast intelligence reports to London from beneath the noses of occupying forces.
