Norway Fisheries Museum

The Norwegian Fisheries Museum is housed within a collection of authentic, eighteenth-century wharfside warehouses that rise directly out of the water on wooden pilings. These timber structures, featuring distinct cog-jointed walls, represent what much of the Bergen waterfront looked like in the nineteenth century when over eight hundred such buildings stood along the shore.
