Finnegården

Finnegården is one of the most recognizable structures along the Bryggen wharf in Bergen. A massive, dark timber frame and a steeply pitched gable distinguish the building from the surrounding rows of wooden houses. This historic courtyard represents the influence of the Hanseatic League, dating to the period when German merchants dominated the stockfish trade in the harbor.
