Skuteviksbryggen

Skuteviksbryggen is defined by a row of traditional wooden warehouses that extend directly into the harbor. These structures, known as Skuteviksbodene, stand as one of the oldest preserved piers in Bergen, with a history for the site potentially reaching back to the thirteenth century. The area takes its name from the Old Norse word for small ships, reflecting its long role as a sheltered bay where vessels were moored and repaired.
