Stoltzekleiven

Stoltzekleiven is a steep stone staircase that climbs directly from Fjellveien toward the summit of Sandviksfjellet. Composed of roughly nine hundred steps, the trail rises over three hundred meters in less than one kilometer. It is a defining feature of the local landscape, and you can identify the route by the way the stone path cuts vertically into the hillside above the residential streets of Sandviken.
