Mulesvingen is a short, quiet residential street in the neighborhood of Mulen that climbs eastward from Persenbakken, eventually crossing the scenic walking path known as Fjellveien. The name itself, officially adopted in nineteen thirty-eight, reflects the area’s long history of milling along the nearby Mulelven river. While the street today is perhaps best recognized locally as the address for the Mulesvingen kindergarten, its path marks the steep transition between the city’s lower harbor districts and the rugged mountainsides that surround Bergen.
