Skutevikstorget is defined by its cluster of colorful, traditional wooden houses and narrow, stone-paved streets that wind toward the hillside. This area in the Skuteviken neighborhood served for centuries as an essential overflow harbor for Bergen, hosting merchants who built sea warehouses along the water when the central city wharves became too crowded.
