The Imam Mohammed bin Saud Mosque is a large, rectangular complex in Ad Diriyah marked by two prominent square minarets. Completed in two thousand two, the structure is organized into three distinct areas that house a prayer hall, a residence for the imam, and a spacious garden containing plants native to the region. The exterior utilizes traditional Najdi architectural motifs, including thick masonry walls and geometric hardscape designs in earthy colors that lead worshippers across a wide plaza toward the entrance.
