The At-Turaif Welcome Center serves as the primary gateway to the historic At-Turaif district, a UNESCO World Heritage site that was once the seat of power for the first Saudi state. Completed in twenty fourteen, the center provides visitors with an introductory orientation to the surrounding mud-brick citadel, which served as the original home of the Al Saud family from seventeen forty-four until its destruction in eighteen eighteen.
