Salwa Palace

Salwa Palace is defined by its massive, multi-level mud-brick walls and the distinctive rows of triangular windows that punctuate its facade. As the largest structure in the At-Turaif district, it served as the royal residence and administrative hub for the leaders of the First Saudi State. Construction began around seventeen sixty-five under Imam Abdulaziz bin Muhammad bin Saud, and over the following decades, the complex expanded into seven interconnected units that housed the ruling family, government offices, and the state treasury.
