Arawak Cay

natural

Arawak Cay is a cluster of colorful, low-slung restaurants and food stalls gathered along the waterfront on West Bay Street. Known locally as The Fish Fry, this area is defined by its focus on traditional seafood, particularly conch, which vendors prepare into salads, fritters, and cracked dishes. The site is a man-made island created in nineteen sixty-nine from the sand dredged during the deepening of Nassau Harbour.
