The Greek Orthodox Church of Ayia Efimia is defined by its high enclosing walls and a large, peaceful courtyard that sits tucked directly into the busy Kadıköy market area. Built on the site of a seventeenth-century predecessor, the current structure features a central dome supported by pendants and a stone bell tower located at the southwest corner.
