The Newman Arms sits on the corner of Rathbone Street and the narrow, cobbled Newman Passage. You can identify the building by the mural of a nineteenth-century woman painted onto a bricked-up window on its upper floor, a reference to the structure's past as a brothel before it was licensed as a pub in eighteen sixty.
