Denmark Street is a narrow, hundred-meter-long road in central London recognizable by its cluster of vintage shopfronts and a series of blue plaques marking its long history as the British equivalent of Tin Pan Alley. Laid out in the late seventeenth century, the street became the center of the British music industry during the mid-twentieth century, housing numerous music publishers, recording studios, and instrument shops.
