George Fink’s Studio, owned by the City of Coral Gables

The studio at twenty-five oh six Ponce de Leon Boulevard is a compact building from nineteen twenty-five that served as the office for H. George Fink. As the lead architect for city founder George Merrick, Fink used this space to design many of the original homes that established the city’s identity. The studio is a landmark of Mediterranean Revival architecture, blending Spanish, Moorish, Italian, and other European influences into a style that became the signature look of Coral Gables.
