Coral Gables City Hall

The three-story limestone building at four hundred five Biltmore Way is easily identified by its central clock tower and deep red clay-tiled roof. Architects Phineas Paist and Harold Steward completed this Mediterranean Revival structure in nineteen twenty-eight, just as the Florida land boom was collapsing. It stands as a physical anchor for the original vision of George Merrick, who founded Coral Gables with the intent of creating a meticulously planned, Spanish-inspired community.
