Mallard Cove

Mallard Cove is a community of twenty floating homes anchored on Lake Union in the Eastlake neighborhood. Established in nineteen seventy-eight, the dock features a series of residences that sit directly on the water, supported by uniform thirty-four by thirty-four foot concrete floats. While many floating home communities in Seattle grew from haphazard early-twentieth-century docks, this site was developed with dedicated infrastructure, including an adjacent parking garage for residents.
