Saaihalle

The Saaihalle is a medieval structure with a gabled roof and intricate brick patterns that stands out in the center of Bruges. Often recognized as one of the oldest dated buildings in the city, the structure bears an inscription on its facade marking its origins in the fourteenth century. It was originally built as the Genoese lodge, serving as a commercial hub for trade representatives from Genoa who operated in the city during its peak as a center for the textile industry.
