Tolhuis

The Tolhuis, or Toll House, is identifiable by the natural stone gable and a late Gothic porch decorated with the polychrome coat of arms of Pieter van Luxemburg. Built in the early thirteenth century as a merchant residence, the structure occupied a prime location near the city’s medieval harbor, where ships docked to unload cargo from across Europe.
