The Centro Cultural Benjamín Carrión is housed in a neocolonial residence at the corner of Jorge Washington and Ulpiano Páez streets. This building was once the private home of the Ecuadorian writer, diplomat, and intellectual Benjamín Carrión, who lived here with his family during the nineteen forties and nineteen fifties.
