Iglesia Católica Santa Bárbara

religious

The Iglesia Católica Santa Bárbara is identified by a slender dome made of iron and zinc that rises above a structure built on a Greek cross floor plan. Located at the intersection of Garcia Moreno and Manabi streets, this church sits at the foot of the San Juan ridge. It marks the northern beginning of the historic Garcia Moreno street, which was known in colonial times as the Street of the Seven Crosses for the religious sites lining its path.
