Orfebrería Germán Campos

Orfebrería Germán Campos is a workshop and gallery located on the street known as La Ronda, a traditional thoroughfare in the historic center of Quito. Inside this small space, you can often find the craftsman Germán Campos working with metal, a trade he learned from his father and grandfather, who brought their knowledge from the province of Chimborazo. His work focuses on techniques like repoussé, where he shapes sheets of gold, silver, bronze, or copper by hand using hammers and chisels he has crafted himself.
