Plaza de San Blas

The Plaza de San Blas is defined by its position at the edge of the historic center, marking what was the northern boundary of Quito until the early twentieth century. This square grew as a colonial trade hub, serving as a gateway for travelers and goods arriving from the north, including routes toward the Amazon and the valleys of Guápulo.
