Place Sainte-Catherine is a small, pedestrian-oriented square defined by a dense canopy of mulberry trees and rows of restaurant terraces that fill the cobblestones. It sits on the site of a royal priory, the Couture Sainte-Catherine, which was founded in twelve twenty-nine and stood here for over five centuries.
