other

The Zeppelinhaupttribüne is a massive, three-hundred-sixty-meter-long stone grandstand that rises above the Zeppelin Field. Designed by architect Albert Speer and built between nineteen thirty-five and nineteen thirty-seven, it was modeled after the ancient Pergamon Altar. The structure is faced with shell limestone and features a central speaker’s platform where Adolf Hitler addressed large assemblies during the Nazi Party Rallies.
