Nationalism Park

Nationalism Park sits between Independence Square and the Accra Sports Stadium, marked by a modern, illuminated landscape design and a distinctive egg-on-stone sculpture known as Koklozi le kpedzi. This space functions as a memorial to the nation’s struggle for independence, specifically honoring the three ex-servicemen—Sergeant Adjetey, Corporal Attipoe, and Private Odartey Lamptey—who were killed during a peaceful march toward Christiansborg Castle in February nineteen forty-eight.
