The National Theatre of Ghana sits at the intersection of Independence Avenue and Liberia Road, recognizable by its vast, curved white exterior that many observers liken to a giant ship or a seagull in flight. This complex covers nearly twelve thousand square meters and was completed in nineteen ninety-two. It emerged from a cooperation agreement between the governments of Ghana and China, with design work led by Chinese architects Cheng Taining and Ye Xianghan.
