Domus K 1885

Domus K eighteen eighty-five is a restored nineteenth-century residence tucked into a quiet lane just below the Panagia Platsani church, easily identified by the neighboring blue domes that mark the center of Oia. Once the family home of Kadio Sigalas, a pioneering shipowner, the building preserves the layout of a traditional captain’s house and an old canava, the stone-walled cellar used for generations to store volcanic wine.
