Sunderwala Mahal

Sunderwala Mahal is a sixteenth-century Mughal mausoleum characterized by its square plan, chamfered corners, and elegant arcades that surround a subterranean burial chamber. Located within the Sunder Nursery garden complex, it was originally built as part of an enclosure that included the nearby Sunderwala Burj and was accessed through a now-lost gateway. Though the tomb has been recognized as a monument of national importance, the identity of the noble buried inside remains unknown.
