Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah Baoli

The Hazrat Nizamuddin Baoli is a seven-hundred-year-old stepwell, recognizable by its deep, rectangular stone tank and the series of steps that descend eighty feet below the ground to a natural spring. Built in thirteen twenty-one by the Sufi saint Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya, it remains one of the few functional stepwells in Delhi, fed by underground water that many visitors still consider sacred.
