Netaji Bhawan

Netaji Bhawan, the ancestral home of the freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose, is a traditional early twentieth-century Bengali mansion characterized by its colonial-style pillars, spacious verandahs, and large courtyards. Built in nineteen oh nine by his father, Janakinath Bose, the residence served as a central hub for political activity during the struggle for India’s independence. A marble nameplate bearing the name of Janakinath Bose marks the entrance to the building.
