Marufukuro is recognizable by its historic Art Deco facade, characterized by sharp geometric motifs and a green-tiled roof. Originally constructed in nineteen thirty, this building served as the headquarters for Nintendo when the company was known as Marufuku. At that time, the premises housed the firm’s office, a warehouse, and the residence of the company president, where they manufactured hanafuda playing cards before the brand grew into a global video game giant.
