Azabujuban Shotengai is a shopping street stretching about five hundred meters in a shallow crescent, lined with roughly three hundred shops that blend traditional storefronts with modern boutiques. It sits in Minato, Tokyo, between the high-rise developments of Roppongi and the historic grounds of Zenpukuji temple, which dates to the ninth century. The street maintains a scale where many buildings remain just a few stories high, often housing the business proprietor and their family above the shop floor.
