Sailor moon manhole covers

The ground here features manhole covers decorated with the colorful characters of the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon series. Minato City began installing these designs in March twenty twenty-four to commemorate the ward’s deep connection to the franchise. The neighborhood of Azabu-Juban and surrounding landmarks serve as the primary setting for the manga and anime, where the protagonist, Usagi Tsukino, lives and attends school.
