Atamiyu

Atamiyu is a traditional public bathhouse, or sento, tucked into the Kagurazaka neighborhood of Shinjuku. Its palace-style architecture is identifiable by a high roof modeled after traditional shrines and temples, standing as a local fixture since nineteen fifty-four. Inside, the building maintains a classic design with a square-blocked ceiling and a wall mural featuring Mount Fuji.
