Parque El Crucero

park garden

Parque El Crucero sits at the busy intersection of Avenida Tulum and Avenida López Portillo, marked by a constant flow of taxis, buses, and local workers. Long before the city grew into a major tourist destination, this area served as a primary gathering point and labor camp for the people building Cancún in the nineteen seventies. It earned its name, the Crossroads, because it emerged at the junction of roads leading toward Mérida and Puerto Juárez.
