Plaza de la Reforma is recognizable by the large, colorful letters spelling out the name of the city, Cancún, which sit prominently within the square. This open space serves as the primary municipal plaza for the Benito Juárez municipality, the government entity that oversees the city. Located in the heart of downtown, it sits directly in front of the municipal hall, known locally as the ayuntamiento.
