Parque del Pintor sits in downtown Cancún, located just a short distance from the more widely known Parque de las Palapas. Often called the Parque del Orgullo, or Pride Park, this space is marked by its ongoing transformation into an inclusive community center. Local authorities began a formal effort to rehabilitate the grounds in early twenty twenty-five to address years of abandonment and neglect that left the area frequently vandalized.
