Ancient City Zhongyi Market

Zhongyi Market sits in the southwest corner of Lijiang Ancient Town, marked by a constant hum of trade and a shifting landscape of colorful plastic umbrellas that shade rows of local produce. While much of the surrounding ancient town has shifted toward boutique shops and tourism, this site remains the primary place where residents buy their daily food, from fresh mountain mushrooms and spices to cured meats. It serves as the only remaining agricultural market within the historic district.
