Wanjuan Building

The Wanjuan Building, or Wanjuan Pavilion, stands as a core component of the Mu Mansion complex at the foot of Shizi Mountain. You can identify this structure by its historical role as the repository for the Mu family's extensive collection, which once included thousands of sutras, paintings, and calligraphy works by prominent scholars. During the centuries when the Mu clan governed Lijiang, this building served as the cultural heart of their residence.
