Church of St. Gregory the Lusaveriç

The Surp Krikor Lusavoriç Armenian Church stands across from the passenger ferry pier in the Kuzguncuk neighborhood. It is easily identified by its distinct cruciform plan and its Byzantine-style dome, which is supported by four pillars and remains clearly visible from the outside. Unlike many other Armenian churches built during the nineteenth century, this structure features stone reliefs and a layout that departs from the era's typical aesthetic restrictions.
