Uskudar Fishermen's Market

The Üsküdar Fishermen’s Market, or Üsküdar Balıkçılar Çarşısı, is a narrow corridor of stalls tucked into the Mimar Sinan neighborhood, just steps from the Bosphorus shoreline. You can pick it out by the rows of ice-filled counters displaying the daily catch from the Marmara, Black, and Bosphorus seas. It serves as a central hub for locals to purchase fresh seafood, ranging from anchovies and sea bass to gilt-head bream.
