Kuzguncuk Pier

The Kuzguncuk Pier sits along the Bosphorus shore as a two-story masonry structure, distinguished by its design from the architect Ali Talat Bey. While the pier's original construction date remains unknown, it was renovated in eighteen eighty-nine by the Armenian foreman Kirkor Efendi and later rebuilt in nineteen thirteen by the maritime company Şirket-i Hayriye. A more recent renovation by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in twenty-eleven preserved the building, which now incorporates a café on its ground floor.
