The Coconut Grove Playhouse is defined by its ornate nineteen twenty-six Spanish Rococo facade, a remnant of its original life as a lavish movie palace. Built for Paramount Enterprises, the theater once featured the largest Wurlitzer organ in the United States and stood as one of the few air-conditioned buildings in the region.
