Peacock Park

Peacock Park sits along the shore of Biscayne Bay, marked by a canopy of trees and an open field that looks out over the water. This nine-acre park occupies the site where English immigrants Charles and Isabella Peacock built the Bay View House in eighteen eighty-three. As the first hotel on the South Florida mainland, the inn became the center of early community life in what would become Coconut Grove.
