The Women’s Guild Home is a Greek Revival mansion distinguished by its octagonal bay and decorative Italianate metalwork. Built in eighteen fifty-nine for merchant Edward Davis, the house serves today as the headquarters for the Women’s Guild of the New Orleans Opera Association. Its exterior is marked by a columned porch and a turret that rises above a wrought-iron fence.
