The eighteen blocks of the Las Vegas Arts District are defined by warehouses and storefronts wrapped in expansive, colorful murals. You can identify the area by the two forty-five-foot-tall steel paintbrush sculptures that mark the entrance to the district at Charleston Boulevard. This neighborhood, often called eighteen-b, was officially established in nineteen ninety-eight to house galleries and independent businesses in a part of downtown that had previously been an industrial zone.
