Hacienda Casino (Horse and Rider) Neon Sign

The Hacienda Horse and Rider is a forty-foot neon sign featuring a cowboy mounted on a bucking palomino horse. It stands high above the street, mounted on a twenty-four-foot pole. Originally installed in nineteen sixty-seven at the Hacienda Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip, the sign was fabricated by the Young Electric Sign Company, or YESCO, to beckon tourists arriving from California.
