The Abbey Road Crossing in downtown Las Vegas is a painted pedestrian crosswalk designed to replicate the famous London zebra crossing featured on the Beatles' nineteen sixty-nine album cover. Installed in two thousand fourteen in the Fremont East district, the crossing sits directly in front of the El Cortez Hotel and Casino. The city government commissioned the site as a tribute to the band's influence and their historic visit to Las Vegas during their nineteen sixty-four tour.
