The Fremont East District sign marks the entrance to a six-block stretch of downtown Las Vegas that trades the enclosed, pedestrian-only atmosphere of the nearby Fremont Street Experience for an open, street-level nightlife corridor. The gateway features a series of oversized, illuminated neon sculptures including a thirty-foot-tall martini glass, a showgirl, and a glittering stiletto heel.
